LACK OF TRAINED STAFF

I went to STD Bank E/R branch on Saturday to query the process of applying for a home loan. Since this was month end, i knew it would be busy, but this is the only day i have to go to the bank. I waited for over an hour for someone to assist and was then informed that the person who handles home loans is not in. the person who eventually helped, was CLUELESS and i felt i wasted my time. all i got was a telephone number. couldn't even tell me what amount i qualify for, what i need to apply for a loan, etc etc. Is this the service that is been sold to us via fancy advertising. Couldnt i be told that in the begining or can there not be more competant staff. I required assistance from a consult and not from a telephone. Now i have to wait a whole week to try my luck again and hope the right people are at the bank.
