Frm July 2013 I have been communicating with absa bank and my car insurance about the proof of insurance. I.sent absa an e-mail of ths proof and an e-mail was sent back saying a consultant wil call me after 72 hours which dd not happen. I immediately called them to comfirm they had received the e-mail, I was told to.call after 24 hours which unfortunately couldn't do due to airtime/money constraints.
Early in August I received an sms from absa saying they will deduct an extra amount of money due to failure to.produce proof of insurance. I called them again and was told to.e-mail it again. I contacted my insurance and they kindly sent me n absa an e-mail of d same proof of insurance. I called them back and was told again to send again because now the AIP SERVICES e-mail was not working. I should send to a private e-mail adress. I unfortunately work in an environment where internet access is a major problem and could unfortunately not send the e-mail as my e-mail was also giving me problems. This morning absa has deducted extra money.from my bank acc which I am furious about. Absa is out of line now. Y should we as customers pay for their discrepancies??? This was a technical pro
