Missing Payment

On the 23rd August 2013 a scheduled payment of R3700 went off my account around 03:21 early morning as it usually does on my payday to pay for my rent and on the very same day I made another payment of R160.27 using the same banking details as my rent was a bit short and to my surprise 10 days later I am informed by my landlord that the R3700 was never paid in to their account. I checked the banking details if they were correct and indeed the detials are correct and the payment went off successfully on my side. Can someone please tell me what's going on here as I am losing my mind here.
