Not inform of instalment not going off, neither of the claim rejected .but still taking instalment for a car that is written off

I would like to know why i was not informed that my insurance did no go off in May, i was unaware as the same day i had my accident.
My vehicle claim has been rejected due to the payment not going off, neither was i informed that the claim was rejected, how does this work?

I was told around the 15 July that the claim will be paid no notification about the instalment did not go off.
This is extremely bad service, it seems as if mi-way wanted my instalment not to go off for my claim not to be paid.

I will be taking this matter further and ensure everyone is aware of the way mi-way does things.
