I'm so sick and tired of Auto and General. I pay a monthly instalment and never laps on my payment, yet I'm never assisted with my claims which has been rejected twice. I had a accident yesterday, logged a claim and was directed to the assessment centre. The panel beater's haven't seen my car, only the assessment centre.
Today, I got a call from them saying that my claim amount to R1200 and therefor they cannot pay it as my access is R3500!!! How ridiculous is that! I have NEVER claimed as the first claim was also less and rejected. I pay a installment of R739 every month, my installment increased without any notification or reason. I also don't understand why I cannot take my car to my own panelbeaters and just submit the claim, which is what my previous insurance did.
It's disgusting how these people took me for a ride. my car's value has depeciated, yet my installment increased! I'll NEVER recommend them, I'm definately cancelling my insurance with them!
In order for them to ever assist me, I'd have to be in a serious accident, forbid.
