AIG Life South Africa
Bad hospital plan

I have had a hospital insurance policy with Chartris Life since 6 June 2011.
The first time I have had to claim on this policy was for a hospital stay
of 3.5 days (28 June 2013 to 1 July 2013).
I contacted the claims department of Chartris Life telephonically on 2 July
2013 to get a claim number. I was asked to send a detailed account from the
hospital. I faxed it through to the claims department. The total number of pages faxed was 6 pages.
This was the full account of the hospital (5 pages long) as well as a copy
of my ID document. I received no acknowledgement that the fax had been received so
I phoned the claims department on 8 August 2013 to
confirm that it had been received. I was told that it had been
received. On 14 August 2013 I again phoned the claims department to enquire about the payout. I was told that it was with the assessors. They would contact me if there were any queries. No communication from Chartris. I phoned on 29 August and was told the assessors needed a detailed account from the hospital, which I had already faxed. Yesterday I sent a full complaint to the email address supplied for complaints. Today the email was bounced back - full inbox. What now?
