AIG slow to pay out claims

I have several policies with AIG Insurance, including Cash Back Policies. I went to hospital on the 7th of Nov 2013 and was discharged on the 10th of Nov 2013. I have registered the claims telephonically and emailed all relevant documentation to AIG on the 27th of Nov 2013. When I phoned on the 2nd of December 2013 they say that they have not received this email and that I have to wait until Wednesday, 4th of December 2013 to confirm whether these claims have been received by them!!! On another policy we could not register a claim because the policy holder details have been synchronised onto their system. For the past 3 weeks they've been telling me that it has been sent to their IT Department to rectify. Up to date this problem has not been solved and I can not register a claim. When phoning the claims department you go through to a call centre in Malaysia. They refuse to give an email address or telephone nr for someone in SA to help sort out the problem. AIG Insurance is very fast to sell their products, collect the instalments but when it comes to claims and pay outs it is a totally different story.
