3 phonecalls - no change, unhelpful

I had my stepdad take out a student loan for me at the end of 2008. I've completed my studies and am working and want to start paying it back myself. I have called the Personal loans department 3 times since the beginning of the year for them to change the banking details for the debit order from my stepdad's name to my name. the 1st consultant couldn't help me in coming up with the loan number which i didn't have with me at the time, simply my ID number (which you think FNB would link to the agreement somehow), he also mentioned that they cannot call me back to confirm and that I would have to phone in 3 days later to find out whether the change happened. I've called twice after that, both consultants telling me they successfully changed the banking details on the debit order and what do you know, twice the 25th came and went with nothing going off. My poor stepdad is still being plagued with the payment, when its my responsibility. FNB dont call to ask whether you are working yet, when you want to start paying and personal loans call centre staff are the rudest, most unhelpful bunch ive come across.

Certain FNB departments are amazing, others disgusting. Get your act together!
