Added my mother to my existing greenlight policy on the 12 December2012 and the contract i got says covered on issue even before the first premium is dedected. On the 14 December 2102 my mother passed away on a car accident. I went to Old Mutual offices they said Iqualified and alll necessessary documents were filled I was told to wait 48 hours after thathose hours passed i went back to old mutual offices the called their head office and i was then told to wait for 7 working days.until now i called again again and i was told i dont qualify because first premium not paid wahat about immmediate cover and no waiting period for accident? I EMAILED the consultant and the branch manager who responded by email also saying he has received my email and will respond in 2 days time on the 2nd day he really responde saying matter was sent to claims department to investigate.that was on the 14 January 2013 and i have been calling on the 21 January 2013
i was told matter taken to assessors and that by wednesday 23 i will get a reply.im still waiting.im traumatised by this im even booked off work for deppression and next week tuesday im going to be admitted at CLAREMONT clinic for depression
