Last week my cheque account was debited with R1500. According to FNB customer service, this was done by FNB card collections. I have confirmed with Unilaw and FNB Card. Neither departments said they debited my account. I was refered to 011352-5369 (option 3). I have tried to contact somebody in that department for three days now. I tried 011371-6585 (Russell- Team Leader) 0113719873 (Thau Sello) Manager. Nobody has responded or been helpful. FNB refuses to reverse debit because it is internal. I did not verbally or in writing consent to this debit and am not aware of this owed payment. Doesnt FNB departments need authorizetion to debt a account holders account? Is is it a matter of willy nilly "I do as I please! "? Please somebody that has a clue or can help? I am so tired of fighting for proper service. Have we been made to accept this kind of service from banking sector? Why dont we charge them for the inconvienances?
