Misleading Info and Bad Attitude

I have a credit card with Standard Bank which is being handed over to RL Daly's for collection. End of December 2012 I was told that the balance on my account is R 516.00 I then made payment of R 520.00 to settle the account. January I call RL Daly to get the settlement letter I'm told that I still owe about R290.00 something. Appalled i reuest a detailed statement. I spoke to a rude RL Daly's consultant by the name of Eugene who told me he can't give me the statement unless they add that to the charges. I'm told to get the breakdown on their debt portal which says I owe R 10.63. I'm now confused as to how is that their debt portal shows a balance of R10.63 and at the same time I'm told i still owe R299.00? I tried calling the card division call centre with no one assisting me. CAN SOMEBODY TRY TO RESOLVE THIS... I need a detailed statement/breakdown of these figures because I believed I have paid up the account. WHAT IS THE R299 for???
