Hi,

I am extremely sick of ABSA by now!!! I really dont understand how a Financial Institute as big as this can be run with absolutely no care for its clients!!! I cancelled my cheque account with absa about two years ago for this exact same incompentencies which exist within the business! Unfortunately I still couldnt get out of my vehicle finance contract so I decided to give them a last chance only to have you disappoint me once again!!! My vehicle finance account was debited this morning by an additional R1300!!! When I called this morning to enquire as to why that was the case, I was told that I was meant to get an sms or a call to confirm whether my vehicle was insured or not!!! I received no such correspondence!!! when I told this to the consultant, she then turned around and said a letter was sent to me last month! Mind you, to an address I havent been living in for the past 8 months!!! I believe when It comes to such issues, a client should be sent at least an email, a call or an sms so as to allow the client to acknowledge receipt!!! To make matters worse ABSA has told me its going to take another 6-7 working days to process my refund!!! which is unacceptable
