Paying more than I should

Like any unexperienced person you do what you are told. About a year ago I opened a check account due to buying a house. Went to Absa spoke to a lady that told me to open THIS one cause it will suit the best R160 p/m. Got the first account all is good, but from the second month it went up understandable due to banking costs. But the next just more R366 then R455 and now about R600. Went to my banker lady asking why? She said that she will look into it. Now 3 weeks later no proper answer, Ive send mails and no reply. One mail said the lady working with it was in a accident witch is understandable, but why not call me and give me feed back? Now all of a sudden my account is changed to another one that will be better. but only now that I complain then there are some changes. Why now??? Who can help me with this problem cause i am paying for something i dont have to? I have been banking with Absa since I was 18 and this is how Absa treat their customers. This is unacceptable cause why is these things not sorted out before hand but only if you complain then it is sorted out! To who can I speak to sort out this problem cause I dont get any joy at the moment? Help please
