I took a loan of R15 000.00 from Blue financial in October 2009. The last debit order deduction of R1241.79 was due in September 2011. There were 2 months where I made cash payment at the bank and handed in the receipts at the offices (to Primrose and to Hazel).
In September 2011 there was no deduction made. I did not enquire with Blue financials as I thought the loan is now paid up. I went to the office to get a confirmation letter that the account was paid in full. When I got there Primrose told me the account was handed over to Pholosa who is the debt collectors.
I phoned Pholosa while at the Blue offices and spoke to "Sello" who told me that I owed R5600.00. He told me that I had not made any payment. That surprized me as I knew that I made monthly payments. I then told him that I will pay the whole amount the following month as I was too upset. When I went back to the office I realized that I will not afford the whole amount. I phoned Pholosa and told I will pay R1241.97 until the money is paid up.
A few days later a lady from Pholosa called and told me I owed - R8600.00 I refused to pay and told them I only owe 1 month's payment. I ask for written conf for this R8600.
