Last week Wednesday I phoned Absa regarding my credit card, an amount was deducted on 20 July even though I have a limit and no money available, now my card is over the limit and I have to pay the interest as well. I paid R1500 into my account but still I have R1800 to pay back with interest. This was. Have contacted Absa several times last week and sent my emails with complaint to disputes@absa and it is now one week and 2 days later and no response. I had to stop my credit card in case it happens again. This is poor service. I'm not a happy customer. But probably my complaint is not of any importance to the bank.
