I had a Credit Card which expired in 2009 already. There was an outstanding amount which I have settled and for years now I have received a monthly statement with admin/card fees accumulating. ABSA never closed my account. I have requested them to close my account, which they have responded I should settle the outstanding amount before 17 July 2013. In fact I have made the payment on 15 July 2013 and they AGAIN send me a statement saying I owe them money. I have contacted customer service and they do not want to refund me on my payments on admin/card fees. That is just!
