In June, I requested a settlement letter from Nedbank Personal Loans and I was told that it would take 2 to 5 days. I patiently waited almost 2 weeks before requesting again. Once I received the settlement letter on 29 June, I emailed the agent back and requested for her to confirm the accuracy of the settlement amount as it was to be settled by a 3rd party and no further payments will be made.
I received a new settlement letter on 1 July with the same settlement amount. I duly forwarded for payment, which was made on 4 July 2013.
Since then, I have been harrassed by call center agents telling me that there is an outstanding balance of R7000 on my account after I "settled" it. I spoke to a supervisor named Kyle who said it was due to reversed payments in May and June, but couldn't explain why the settlement letter dated 1 July did not reflect the same.
Kyle said (in July) that he would get a supervisor named Clayton from another department to contact me but as of the date of this complaint, I have yet to hear from a Clayton. Every agent who calls me adds a note of the system for Clayton to call me, but still nothing.
Nedbanks' service was good, but now? Just pathetic :-(
