I phoned on 8/3/2013 for a settlement amount which i was assisted with. I went into the bank on 9/3/2013 to pay the settlement amount, at the teller I requested my actual outstanding balance to compare, I was advised that my actual outstanding balance was R200 less than my settlement amount. I went to the Personal Loans lady as it did not make sense to me why my actual balance is less than my settlement amount. She was very helpful & put me through to the Call Centre again, I then spoke to Thabang, he spoke so softly & unclear that I could barely make out what his name was, he also didn't exactly sound very enthusiastic/willing to assist me with my request. He gave me my settlement amount & also confirmed my outstanding amount. I then enquired as to why the settlement was more than the actual balance and also why I received no discount on my balance as I was paying up my account 28 months early! The service received from Thabang was absolutely appalling! I would appreciate a full explanation as to why there was no discount on my account (other banks give you discount) & a discount/refund is requested! Nedbank is pathetic to say the least!!
