First National Bank
Bad Design costing ME money!!

I wanted to pay honeymoon booking on 2013/08/15 with my credit card in order to make use of the interest free period. After struggling to add the beneficiary and having to call Premier Banking twice to fix something on their side, I eventually managed to create the beneficiary and link it to my credit card. I hastily proceeded to make the payment because it had to clear the same day and make the 16:00 cut-off time for inter-bank transactions. Upon completion I noticed that it had gone off of my cheque account instead. I contacted Premier Banking again only to be told that on the Payment screen I had to choose the account from which to pay again. What is the point of having the option to link an account to a beneficiary if it is overridden on another screen? Now my overdraft is almost maxed out (and i will be paying interest on it). My salary will not be enough to get me back in the green this month, so now I will need to arrange to transfer money from my bond at Absa (which is a nightmare in itself as they can only give me a cheque which takes long to clear OR I need to open an ABSA account and sign up for internet banking just so that I can do an EFT to my FNB account. What do I do now??
