I recently took out a personal loan with Nedbank and my first debit order was at the end of July. Close to the middle of July I contacted your accounts department with regards to the debit date on my account. I advised the consultant that I the debit date that was set was incorrect. The debit date was set for the 25th and I only get paid on the 26th. I told the consultant at the branch the same thing when I applied for the loan.
The agent then told me that they are unable to change the debit date at the time and they will call me after month end to change the date. She also advised that its fine as you guys work with Naedo system and if there is no money in my account it will then track until there is funds. So my account was debited on the 26th.
Now my problem is that although the debit went off I still received a letter in the mail advising me that if I dont make payment Nedbank with list me on ITC as a bad payer. I dont take likely to those threats, especially when the fault was on your side. I will take legal action if I received one more threatening letter from you.
