FNB my own bank declined my home loan application

I doesnt make sense at all that FNB declined my application. I am a platinium client. Before I applied they offered me an overdraft of R17500 on my cheque account. Now suddenly between myself and my wife we could not afford a home???
I was offered a home loan deal from SA HOME loans. Does it make sense. I still would like to take loan witj FNB but dont know who to deal with.
