Overly Lengthy Investigation Process

On the 8/9 June my bank account was cleaned out by an unknown entity. On 10 June I visited the Nedbank St. George's Mall branch to fill out a investigation form. I was advised that this process would take 6-7 weeks to complete, which I think is completely ridiculous to begin with. I proceeded to express my thoughts regarding the matter on twitter that same day, to which the official Nedbank twitter account replied and agreed with me, promising to fast-track the process. I have followed up with Nedbank via twitter 3/4 times since then, all the while receiving their assurances that the process is being fast-tracked/escalated with the branch. It has now been over 8 weeks since lodging my claim - longer than originally quoted - and this is after I was given assurance that the process would be fast tracked. I tweeted Nedbank last night and am now unsurprisingly being ignored while other tweets are being answered. I'm extremely disappointed with Nedbank's service. Having one's account cleaned out is inconvenient enough without having to deal with shoddy service and I am very very seriously considering moving to another bank after this debacle.
