I am currently a student doing my honors in psychology, Absa began charging me bank costs last year with no warnings, after I realized this I phoned them to make sense of this confusion and they told me to just go to my local Absa bank with my ID and student card, I confirmed that this was all I need. Of course it wasn't. They told me to bring my registration papers so I did. After doing this they told me everything is updated and that this would not happen again. What I did not know is that they were still charging me. One day they stopped my account when I was on holiday and this was a lot of trouble for me, they told me they need my details AGAIN! I told them I did give it to them in the beginning of the year and they said that they did not have it!! So again I went to Absa but this time in Rustenburg and again exactly the same problem! My problem is with Absa that is taking money that does not belong to them, not with staff and I am going to make the FSB aware of this matter. This is 2 year of bank costs.
