Intensely unprofessional behaviour towards client

I had a burglary at my property for which I needed to claim. My broker informed me of everything that was required including proof of forced entry, inventory of goods and quotes for replacement of said goods. These were all provided on the day I was informed thereof. This is neither a large or a complex claim. Initial processing of the claim was held back for 4 working days because the claims processor assigned was on leave - no contingency made for handling this by another person. On reaching a final settlement (after 4 erroneous attempts) I was notified that the payment process would take 5 working days. I was meant to be paid today and got a hasty phone call from the same Claims processor to say she forgot to get the payment authorised so it needs to go in again. Another 5 working days. It is unacceptable that there is not an emergency payment plan to settle claims where clients have been inconvenienced by YOUR excessive incompetence!
