Outsurance is Stalling my valid claim payout!!!
It was brought to my attention that i was paying dual insurance with Absa, Budget and Outsurance.
Absa and Budget refunded me my dues. However Outsurance has taken since May 2012 and are still stalling the refund due to me. Each time the claim reaches authorisation, i am notified that payment will be made forthwith. I and my broker were assured in November 2012 that the claim was prosesed and still no payment was done.
It is now february 2013 nearly a year later and my broker has again been informed that the claim must be resubstantiated and re authorised again. This shows stalling tactics!!!
Outsurance consultants handling this matter have been in meetings and repeatedly unavailble.
I reqeust interest as a result of this continual delay. Each enquiry afther payment is due has resulted in a new consultant and reprocessing of the claim. I am a pensioner, and I will proceed to consider legal and media action unless satisfactory settlement is not made in 24 working hours.
