Goodday, ruffly 7 months ago I payed the last instalment of my Stdbank creditcard. I phoned the call centre and requested them to cancel my account, this was confirmed by the callcentre operator. Two weeks ago I received a sms stated that my creditcard account is overdue. Trying to contact them was absulutly useless since they have so many disgruntled customers, I guess? Today, again I received the same sms, holding on for at least 45 min finally getting someone on the line named Robin. I explained to Robin the above, he told me to hold on (???). eventually he replied that the request was submitted, but was not finalised.

Now my question is as follows: Does it really take 7 months to do such a easy task? I would suggest retraining your incompedant callcentre operators & supervisors

Another request, that will be also very easy to do, is to NOT send me any other Stdbank related issues, I'am extremely happy with my current service provider (Capitec)
