My Policy with first for woman/auto and general is 8 years old.
I have a cover for a locksmith and was a loyal customer.
I had a nasty experience this morning whereby my key was locked in my car.
I called auto and gen customer service, i was put to 3 different departments. i was locked out with 3 kids, one of whom is a 1 year old. His bag with nappies, milk and compulsory needs were locked in the car.
I was highly stressed and was hoping that auto and gen will help me with a locksmith.
I was given a story that they will only cover if the key was locked in a certian part of the car.
I am in complete shock that i was paying for 8 years yet i had to call out a locksmith at a cost R350-00, this amount is after pleading for a discount.
If i am paying for a locksmith that cant assist me when i am in a dire situation and i have to pay off my own pockets.
I am very sorry that i will have to replace auto and gen with another car insurance unless i get reimbursed for my costs, time and stress then i may consider but at this point i am frustrated with them
