Due to my many disappointments with FNB, I will never take a loan out with this bank again. I am utterly disgusted by their service. I have taken out two loans that has been settled one a few years ago and the other last year October. When I settled my first I ended my job to search for further career prospects as my child was only one at that time and the other was taken out for my parents where they carried on with the payments.
Things were fine for a few months with regards to finding work until, I was on a stand still. I then realised last year November when residuals were debited off my account that they handed me over last year November. According to them I owed them nearly R6000.00, I was furious I didn't understand, going into many branches speaking to many consultants nothing helped until I made my first complaint and only then I got the debit order back. After that I pulled out a credit report and realised with shock that both loans were still open and owing on my credit report. The bank never followed up on my settled loans and they were lying for years on my name. I have been struggling since 2011 to find work and presently the loan from 2009 that I took out is still
