I am a First National Bank customer for 20 years already, but will be closing my account/s with them as soon as possible.
I had a student loan that I paid back (never late) and the loan was supposed to be finished in April 2013. I did pay the last instalment (or what I thought would have been the last instalment), but since then they have been deducting smaller amounts of money every month. I have made numerous calls to the student loans department, and every time they said they are sorry and that it was their fault, and that the money would be paid back into my account as soon as possible. THAT NEVER HAPPENED!!! When I phoned again this morning and spoke to Dwayne, he again apologised and said that he will send the admin department an email to rectify the problem. I also phoned the Paarl Main Branch to get head office's number, they told me they don't have a head office!!! I guess I can not complain about the service at FNB... because there is no service!!!
