I was phoned by FNB to upgrade my credit card, after explaining the benefits, I was informed the fees will double. As far as I'm concerned you don't reward customers for having a good credit record by offering a product that doubles the fees, despite the benefits of the product. But that's another issue.
After hearing this I declined the upgrade.
1 week later, I see on my online banking the account has been upgraded, and I got a phone call saying my card is on the way. I previously posted a complaint when I first got my card as the couriers messed me around for 3 weeks before I cancelled it and walked into a branch to collect myself. So the last thing I want is a new card.
After 15 minutes and 6 consultants, FNB says they will get back to me. Come on FNB, look after your loyal customers don't frustrate them.
