Upgrade to Private Banking

So, I have upgraded my Platinum account to Private Banking account today upon hearing from a colleague of mine that he was upgraded to the Graphite package. My colleague had received a complete welcome pack that included amongst other things a fancy leather notepad and organiser.
I received my card today from the couriers and thats all that it was, just my card??? I would just like to know how it is possible that upgrading to a higher package brings less benefits.
Why haven't I received a complimentary offering from FNB?
