I was transferred to Nicole Resant when I requested to speak to a supervisor because I was not happy with the fact that the premium for my daughters Ford Fiesta, covered on my policy could not be reduced in line with the quote I obtained from Budgets New Business dept for the same item and risk. This was on 19 July 2013. After several calls and e-mails, Nicole assured me that the matter will be resolved, premium reduced to be in line with New business qoute in time for the deduction due on 01 August 2013. Needless to say, this did not happen, despite me sending a request on 30 July 2013 to Nicole, the e-mail was read, but no reply was forthcoming from Budget. One now tends to think that is how Budget lure new customers, low low premiums for new clients only. How can it make sense that the same car, same risk R575.00 on a new policy, whilst being insured on my policy for the last 2 - 3 years is R745?
