05/07/2011 I logged a call as the room next to the bathroom had a damp wall and I had to replace cupboards, floors ect. They got their plumbers to come out and assess, we got told to replace washers ect as it maintanance. 26/07/2012 I once again had to scrape the walls, seal it and repaint as we had the same problem. This after I got a plumber to do the maintance after the first call I logged. I eventually decided to redo the bathroom as it was causing ashma ect from the dampness. When they re did the bathroom, several mistakes was found as a pipe not connected by the outlet under the shower, a hole in the pipe by the tap behind the tiles ect. Well never the less after I eventually phoned ABSA again they said sorry, the fact that the pipe was not connected makes the claim rejected! SOOOO, what is the use of insurance with (and from other quotes, we paying much more with them as you would with other companies )??? I dont want to even think what excuses they will have when my house burn down!!! Any advise???
