Absa house insurance Bad service/ delay fixing

I had a water pipe that burst in my on-suit bathroom, resulting in damages in en-suit bathroom, walls, floor, laminating floors in main bedroom, passage and second bedroom and partly kitchen floors, including build-in cuboards. I have being living in my 3rd bedroom, as I had to remove all my clothes and had to empty out cuboards off the stinky damp smell in the house, the house is a absolute mess. My claim nr 2435118 and was logged on 22 August 2013, its more than one month later and nothing has being done. I had about 8 different companies through my house, from flooring, tiling, cuboards, plumbers, leak detector companies. The only thing they fixed was the leak. One moth later, i still cant use the shower. Where they chopped open the wall and tiles, its exactly the same! Nothing has being done! I then got hold of a person called Alan 0824190375, then he not at his desk, then he does not have paperwork infront of him etc etc etc. Spoke to Alan again this afternoon, he said he will call me back! Still waiting... This is not aceptable, and would recomend that if you have a bond or insurance with ABSA, move it now! Before you sit in the same situation. Leon
