We submitted a claim to Nedbank home insurance more or less a year ago. Our bathroom pump was broken and we had to remove some tiles to repair pump. Nedbank only wants to replace the broken tiles with tiles that does not even match, as the old tiles are 20 years old an not longer in production. We do not want to renovate the bathroom, we only want it in the same condition as before. We had another problem with a leaking waterpipe in our other bathroom, the sent out someone and he told is that we must wait for the pipe to burst or we can just cover the problem by tiling over it. We have mould issues now from the damp walls and I have 2 children who has 2 live in a house full of mould. I have sent numerous emails to the insurance department and got no response whatsoever.
