I went into Standard bank at Menlyn Square with my ID and stood in line about a month ago. I wanted to cancel my account as the service is shocking. Then to find out today when I phoned the Customer care to query something on my statement that my account has not been closed and I owe the bank R25.00 for the monthly expenses... now I have to go back into the bank, with my ID and stand in line again on my time and petrol to try and cancel the account again...
