Nothing annoys me more than trying to quickly find a solution to a problem and then being transfered from one person to another at a call centre and wasting time I don't have. I needed to pay money over to a foreign account for my studies and tried doing so on my internet banking. I couldn't do it and decided to call the call centre. I spoke to about 20 different incompetent people and after spending more than an hour on the phone I was told that Nedbank does not allow foreign payments to be made on internet banking and the guy explained that I can do so at ANY Nedbank branch. I rushed to the branch today and there was no one who could show me where to go so I stood in the Forex line. When I got to the front I was told that I can't do foreign payments at any branch and had to go to a GLOBAL branch. Luckily Carol Khubani was on the ball and helped me without any further problems, but I am still upset about the whole situation and am seriously considering taking my banking elsewhere. I've had a few problems with Nedbank's service and offers over the past few months and I am really getting sick and tired of this.
