Absa dont explain and then demand money

I took a cheque account out with Absa a few months ago and was sold this amazing account with free charges on drawing but what they did not explain was that there was an overdraft amount on my account which i did not ask for by the way so after using this cheque account i realised it was not as great as what it was sold to me. I was not told that after swiping your card the money does not get taken off straight away and then a few weeks ago i get a phone call from a rude call centre consultant asking me when they can expect payment of R 500 odd rands that i owe on my cheque account due to overdraft and bank charges.

I dont know how they came to this conclusion and when i phoned Absa Greenstone Edward promised to phone me back which to this day im still waiting for and i keep getting calls from call centre agents who are demanding money!
