I am a Hospital Insurance Plan policy holder with AIG LIFE. The policy was offered in 2008 to me by Standard bank when I opened an account with them. I have never claimed since 2008. I was hospitalised in May 2013 for seven (7) days, and decided to claim the benefits for hospitalisation I submitted my claim to [Email Removed] on 2013-07-05. On 2013-07-15 I requested acknowledgement of my claim. NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER! On 2013-07-18 I requested an update/feedback on my claim. NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER! Since 2013-07-15 I called them twice, reached the call centre, guess what... despite several options, all the lines are busy and NO OPERATOR AVAILABLE. PLEASE HELP! No response, no communication, no feedback since submitting my claim on 2013-07-05. Consumers should stay away from this company as they will be wasting money!
