Outsurance
Under assessing claim

On the 21 June, My neighbor reversed into the front right of my car, which was parked on the pavement of our house. he fully admitted it was is fault.

Quotes from panel beaters to check the damage (average about R17K) and to see if he will pay or should claim via his insurance.
A few days later, I receive a call from outsurance regarding the accident as he is also insurred with O.

Here is the kicker, I was supposed to be paid the no claim bonus of approximately R7K in the first week of July (I was actually phoned a few months ago and was told it will be paid in Middle of June). So I did not want to claim from my policy, so it will need to be handled as a 3rd party claim. Every single call with every adviser, stated that I will not loose my out-bonus.

Legal dept, put me through to claims, get a ref to go to assessor, all fine and dandy, get told a few days later that the assessor puts the value of the repair to R4000 (Assessment is performed via a few pictures.

Email claim handler, with omitted items and include pictures. No response. Call and get told to speak to the legal dept. I get told that They will only honour the assessed amount of R4000.
