Hi Outsurance
I am a client of Outsurance and was recently involved in a car accident and hence needed to claim from insurance.
The service I received in settling the claim was poor and very unprofessional. I have highlighted some key point emphasising the poor service received:
? The accident was reported telephonically on Thursday 3 January 2013. I did not receive any feedback from Outsurance on the status of the claim, until I contacted Outsurance on Tuesday (8 January 2013) afternoon (4 days later).
? I understand that the claim was being investigated, this was however never communicated to myself.
? The Assessor was very rude and aggressive when conducting the investigation. The Assessor was also unprofessional and not knowledgeable of the claims process. The follows examples refers:
o The Assessor indicated that should the car be written off, I have the option to request the car and only receive a portion of the car's value. He indicated that the portion of cash to be received is approximately 66%, but will be calculated by the Advisor. The Assessor however at no stage indicated that the that the amount to be paid back is dependent on the
