On 16/7 I applied for vehicle finance for a business vehicle through the above branch and on 18/7 I started enquiring as to what the outcome was -I felt that I should apply to my bank first as I have been a client of this bank since the late 80's with a 2nd account opened in '95 - I was told that the credit dept was still busy looking into it and after some harsh words to the branch manager on the 19th, I was told late that afternoon that it was declined due to my business account not being open long enough -1 year and enough money in it to buy the said item cash
I applied to Wesbank on the afternoon of 19/7 - the F&I person sent the application to MFC and Wesbank and I was told by10;00 on 20/7 (Sat) that both companies approved the finance - one a Nedbank division?
Needless to say, I took the offer from Wesbank as I was given a very fair rate and I received a call from my bank on 22/7 wanting to know if I had come right - Which I confirmed to the person and also told him that I was going to move all my accounts from Nedbank and take it to 'Werners" bank, as I think their service would be far better than my bank where I have banked for the past 18 years with no default
