I applied for Finance with Wesbank to purchase a vehicle, thinking that because this is the 4th car that I have bought through HP I will be seen as a valuable client. After you have paid up your motor vehicle they always send you spam in terms of letters or offers, presenting how valuable you are and they want your business. I have applied for finance at Wesbank and the Marketing department told me that maybe I should increase my contract term to get a better interest rate 54 months is a long time for me, for a R50 000 car, how much longer do they expect me to finance the car for. Other Financial institutes that I have never banked with or never did business with before are giving me a far better rate than Wesbank and unlike Wesbank they not even ask for a deposit. Wheres the consideration for your exisiting clients, Banks are quick to Credit check you and refuse to give you loans if you are over committed, but obviously you will be over committed if the institutes you deal with and trust stab you in the back and expect you to open numeorous accounts every where else, I am dissapointed, I feel like closing my acccount with Wesbanks & Group of companies
