No response after paying off car finance

Hi

I asked Absa for a settlement amount on my AVAF account. After receiving this in Oct 2012, I paid off the amount. For weeks after the payment was made i kept phoning in to find out it all is fine and can I collect my car papers. I was either told that the payment has not reflected yet or someone will be in contact soon. Its been 6 months and still no response!

Please assist.
