I have purchased a vehicle in Klerksdorp through GM Motors. I have received Finance from AVAF (absa vehicle and asset finance) I have taken the car over a 72 month period. I Have been paying this car every month for the past 4 and a half months, with the last payment due this year some time. I have paid this car without fail, and now i received a call from Absa advising that they will be repossesing the vehicle before Friday if no payment has been received.
I have been a loyal absa client for quite some years now, and this is the treatment i receive. The last payment is due later this year sometime, and now they threatening with taking the vehicle form me. i have missed one or two payments recently due to me being in a financial predicament. I cannot understand Absa, being a well known, well acknowledged indusrty around can do something like this. I would like to lay an official complaint against Absa for this unfair trearment.
