Capitec Bank
STAMPED STATEMENT NOT ACCEPTABLE

I have a savings account with Capitec bank. Went to capitec branch in Pretoria (221) this morning to apply for an activation of a multiloan. Requested my 3 months bank statement from FNB (where my salary is deposited) and it was emailed through to me (free of charge). Took it together with my payslip to capitec. Refilwe Mlojwa (SC) was helping and told me that due to she cannot accept the emailed statement. Went back to FNB and they verified every transaction on my emailed statement and STAMPED each page. Went back to capitec and Refilwe still could not accept the STAMPED statement and said Annitjie Mosetlane who is the Branch Manager has made the decision & I must get the statement printed by FNB (which actually costs me money per page). WOULD FNB TAKE A RISK OF CONFIRMING A STATEMENT AND STAMP IT? I have been a capitec client for years and today I am so disappointed that they cannot accept the STAMPED STATEMENT that has been verified by the other bank. Why claim that you are PAPERLESS and still your clients have to run around and still not get what they need? Lord please help us South Africans to stop borrowing money from Capitec and see if they will survive.!!
