Isn't capitec suppose to be transparent? tried opening an capitec account where i was told to go and stand in a Que at my previous bank to get a bank statement. According to me or by law the ATM statements is valid as i got it stamped as well.capitec is suppose to be easy banking but if there is so much hassle opening an account i dread to think what my banking experience with them will be like.the worst part is i was not even greeted by a consultant but a security guard who has no qualifications in banking who gave me the run around.i think i would have made a loyal customer.would not advise anyone to join.
