On the 30th of April I went to a Capitec branch in Harrison street Jozi, which is diagonal opposite to Johannesburg Water. I wanted to apply for a loan and I provided the consultant with my bank statement & salary advice, I had lost my card & as a existing customer she told I need to get another card before she can process the application, she then gave me a new card & the card contract to sign which I did. All was well until she asked if this was my salary reflecting on the bank statement, she was in disbelieve and left with my bank statement & salary advice & came back and ask me where did I get this bank statement, I explained & also emphasised that the stamp on the bank statement has a branch name, she told me it was a statement and she cannot assist me, I pleaded with her & asked if I can quickly rush to the nearest branch to get another statement if she didn't believe the one I provided was legitimate, she refused and told me I have provided this one & she'll send it somewhere, I can only assume maybe is some kind of a department. she gave me back my docs and I was told to leave like am some kind of a criminal and her attitude in general was just awful
