I bought a smartphone via the FNB Smartphone and Tablet department. I also chose the insurance option to insure my phone. Ever since I bought this, which is approaching about two months now, I have not had a single call from the broker (Markus, because he is the only one who deals with insurance for mobile devices), with my policy, etc. I have constantly tried to call him, line always busy, and email him, he never replies to emails.
All I need is a piece of mind that everything is in order and I am covered with proof of a policy number at least, because I have now had a couple of scares with my phone, and it is unsettling since I am not sure where I stand with the insurance for my device.
I have also contacted Fiona Somasundram from the Mobile device department, to ask what is going on, but have not gotten a reply yet.
I hold FNB in high regards, but this kind of treatment I am getting now is appalling to say the least...
