I have been an ABSA client my entire life, as well as a Small Business client for the past 4.5 years. I have generally received good service up until this point. Yesterday I received a call from ABSA Northcliff to say that they noticed I had no financial advisor linked to my business account and would I like to meet them. I explained to the lady that I had a Small Business Manager, Dale Booysens, and that I didnt think a Financial Advisor was necessary at this stage. She then informed me that Dale was no longer with Small Business and that there was someone new. I was quite shcoked that this was the case as no one from ABSA, nor Dale himself, informed me of a change. When I asked whom the new person was, there was a large degree of uncertainty and I was told to call the branch to find out. I find this unaccaeptable. Why must I call to find out who is responsible for assisting me with my business, isnt it enough that I already have my accounts with ABSA, surely it is their responsibilty to call me and inform me of changes within the orgnisation. I am rather upset ove this issue as I take my business very seriously, clearly ABSA does not. I would like some answers ABSA.
